Young belgian talent, trombonist Nabou Claerhout exhibits her innovative jazz experimentations in charge of the NΔBOU quartet, presenting their new album, You Know. “It’s difficult to explore new sounds on a guitar, because too many people have already played the instrument. But there is still a lot to explore on the trombone,” says Claerhout, who has stood out in festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Gent Jazz Festival, Jazz Middelheim, Brussels Jazz Weekend, Dranouter Festival and Gateshead International Jazz Festival. Joined by Trui Amerlinck (bass), Roeland Celis (guitar) and Mathias Vercammen (drums), Nabou will perform tracks from her newly released album and also from the EP Hubert (2019).
